This article provides a number of different teaching strategies to assist struggling readers both inside and out of the classroom. These strategies can easily be integrated into any classroom as they don’t require additional resources but rather address pedagogies and activities facilitated within the learning environment. UTCRLA Essential Reading Strategies for the Struggling Reader
This is a huge resource that includes a MASSIVE range of activities, strategies, and pedagogies to integrate into the classroom to help develop struggling readers comprehension. Basic lesson overviews are used to display this information, including objectives, materials, sequences, and adaptations. This is an excellent resource to have on hand in the classroom, as a one-stop-shop for lesson planning ideas.
